Latrell Alford rejoins 2013 PBL Champion Bloomington Flex (US-Pro)

Latrell-AlfordLatrell Alford (6’3 G, Crisfield, MD) re-joins the 2-time defending PBL (Premier Basketball League) champions Bloomington FLEX as they look to match the Rochester Razorbacks record of being 3- time league champions. The FLEX has 3 starters returning but Alford may be the difference maker this season as they open their campaign on January 11 against the Indianapolis Diesels.

After being hampered by a hamstring injury last season, Alford now looks to finally make his mark in the PBL by playing a more significant role in the team’s drive to three peat. If he stays healthy, he gives the FLEX  another explosive athlete that can do significant damage both on the offensive and defensive end.

Prior to him signing with the FLEX, Latrell played in iBall United’s Euro Pro Select Combine where he impressed scouts and coaches from all over the world with his athleticism and explosive but well-rounded game. He was also the #5 ranked player at iBall Focus. He was also the #1 overall athlete at the 2012 iBall Combine. With the best vertical leap ever recorded at an iBall Pro Combine at 46”.

A former NCCAA Division 2 National Player of the year and 3-time All-East Region Defensive Player of the year for Valley Forge Christian College, Alford’s addition to an already formidable team that swept the Rochester Razorsharks could spell trouble for the rest of the league.
