Bridges, Hargrove Claim MVP honors at 2015 Men’s & Women’s iBall Pro Combine

Kendall Hargrove (6’3″,190, SG/SF, Woodbridge, VA)  and Precious Bridges (5’5″ , 140 lbs, PG SG, West Palm Beach, FL 13BM Agency, Juan Pedro) have been named the Men’s and Women’s Most Valuable Players of the 2015 iBall Pro Combine, respectively.

Both players displayed excellence in similar fashions. Both led their teams to iBall Pro Combine championships. Both tested as superior athletes, and both are complete players that thrive on both the offensive and defensive ends of the court.


Kendall Hargrove iBall UnitedHargrove battles on every possession–offensively and defensively.  Whether scrapping for rebounds, hustling for loose balls, or using active hands to make deflections and steals, he stays extremely active at all times that he is on the court.

At first look, his superior speed and leaping ability (39″ vertical) are easy to catch the eye.  But after a true evaluation, Hargrove proves to be an all-around player with a complete package of offensive and defensive skills.  He is also a very patient and efficient player, as he shot 55% from the field.  His points value was 16.3 points per game and he shot a stellar 62.5% from 3pt range.  Hargrove’s slashing and ball handling ability allow him get to the rim at will.   He is a high riser with great balance, footwork, and ball handling ability, allowing him to attack the rim relentlessly.  Hargrove logged some of the most breathe-taking dunks in iBall Pro Combine History.

Hargrove showed that he is a strong-willed player with the ability to take over a game. With his team down 12 points in the first half of the championship game,  Hargrove hit three three-pointers, launching a comeback that would propel his team to the iBall Pro Combine Championship.  Hargrove would finish with 15 points, 2 steals, 3 dunks, and a value of 23.

Hargrove was recently named to the Daktronics All-Region South 2nd Team.  He also became the University of Mount Olive’s first-ever Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Defensive Player of the Year.  Hargrove ranked second in the conference with 8.4 rebounds per game and just under two steals and one blocked shot per contest. Hargrove recorded eleven double-doubles in his 2014-15 campaign and finished his career averaging 10.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists.  He ranked 12th in the Nation (NCAA D2) in total rebounds and 29th in double doubles. He was also nationally ranked in rebounds per game (40th), Free throw attempts(17th), and steals (52). In addition to his defensive accolades, Hargrove was among 16 finalists nationwide in the “Dark Horse Dunker” contest.

unnamedPrecious Bridges is a superior scoring talent with an incredible passion for the game.  She plays hard on both ends of the court, matching an excellent ability to score with tough, on-ball defense.

Precious led all scorers with 18.3 points per game, netting 22 in the championship game.  Precious tested as the #2 overall athlete, according to stats by Maxout. Her vertical jump of 27.5″ ranked #1 overall and she placed second overall in the multi-directional movement test.

Precious is a dominant offensive player.  Her 3-point shooting, left to right cross over and pull up, and her ability to lead and finish strong in the fast break are things that make her a very special offensive player.   Precious plays with a high basketball I.Q.  Her super-quick moves are accompanied by quick and accurate decisions.  She makes good passes in traffic and communicates very well with teammates.  She is a very passionate player that exudes confidence and displays excellent leadership.

Precious also plays with a high energy level defense.   A shut-down defender, she takes pride in matching up against the opponents best scorer.  She reads the passing lanes well and is a relentless on-the-ball defender.

In 2014-15, Precious Bridges, led Southern Conference in scoring averaging 20.2 points per game en route to SoCon Player of the Year accolades.  The Mercer star finished the season ranking 21st in the Nation (NCAA D1) in Scoring. To go along with her outstanding point production, Precious averaged 3.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds.
