Official Scouting Report Released for iBall National 2018 Youth Combine

MVP (4)iBall United is excited to announce the official release of the Scouting Report for the 2018 iBall National Youth Combine.  The event took place on Saturday and Sunday June 23-24 in Pottstown, PA.  All players that participated were boys 13 and under.

The detailed scouting report includes all game video, game and athletic stats, as well as the All-iBall Team and All-Star team selections.

Nyles McNiel Claims MVP of First Ever iBall Youth Combine at iBALL National 2018

POTTSTOWN, PA – Nyles McNiel has been named Most Valuable Player of the iBALL National 2018 Youth Basketball Combine.

SF, 6’2”, Pottstown PRIDE 13U, Pottstown, PA

Combine Stats

While starring for Pottstown PRIDE, McNeil ranked number one overall in three statistical categories.  His 23.0 points per game was number one overall.  This included a 31 point and 22 rebound game versus the combine tournament runner-up Jaguars.  He logged his 2nd double-double in the All-Star game with 15 points and 11 rebounds.   Nyles also averaged 14.0 rebounds and 1.0 block per game,  both number one overall.

McNeil ranked twenty-fourth in overall athleticism according to stats by MAXOUT.  In vertical jump, he logged a score of 21.5″ (8th overall).  His lateral lane shuttle was 4.52 seconds (22nd) and multi-directional movement was 8.52 seconds (27th).

Stanley Whittaker Claims MVP of iBALL National 2018 Men’s Pro Combine

POTTSTOWN, PA – Stanley Whittaker, has been named Most Valuable Player of the iBALL National 2018 Men’s Pro Basketball Combine.

PG, 6’0”/183cm, Philadelphia, PA

 

Combine Stats

Whittaker led Team Cutillo’s to the 2018 Men’s Pro Combine tournament championship, ranking number one in two statistical categories and top three overall in three categories.  His 21.0 points per game was number one overall.  This included a 25 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in the championship game versus Team MAXOUT.   His game high points total was 26 points.  Whittaker also averaged 3.3 assists per game which tied for first overall. His 2.5 steals per outting was second overall.

Whittaker ranked seventh in overall athleticism according to stats by MAXOUT.  In vertical jump, he logged a score of 36″ (6th overall).  His lateral lane shuttle was 3.57 seconds (8th) and multi-directional movement was 6.8 seconds (18th).

Career History

Before iBall , Whittaker was a two-time All-American at Keiser University (NAIA) where he played for the Villanova Hall of Fame Coach Rollie Massimino.  His career high average was 15.4 points, 8.2 rebound, 6.3 assists and 2.3 steals.  Whittaker collected Regular Season Championship and Newcomer of the Year awards in 2016 and was named All-TSC First Team and All-Tournament Team two times while at Keiser.  He also led Keiser to the Elite Eight in 2017.

You show up to camp. They choose teams. You get handed some shirt – let’s say, yellow #12. And then you play.

You go on a nice scoring run and somebody with a clipboard asks the guy next to him, “Ey. Who’s yellow number 12?”

Alex Morillo inks deal with Club Deportivo Universidad de Concepcion (Chile)

Alex-MorilloAlex Morillo ( 180cm / 5’11” Point Guard), has finalized a deal with Club Deportivo Universidad de Concepcion (Chile), a professional basketball team located in the geographic center of Chile, sitting about 500 km south of Santiago, the country’s capital.
